In this role, the Project Engineer will discover, develop and deploy new product designs and/or product improvements to ensure the highest level of profitability and customer satisfaction. You will: Perform investigations and calculations to obtain missing information and to insure all specifications are correctly documented. Contribute to the development of project budget, schedule, and scope. Complete all aspects of project assignments accurately and on time including development of designs, performance criteria, quality levels, verification methods and other aspects as required. Directly lead and support Engineering projects from concept through production. Create BOMs, part numbers, sub-assemblies, and raw materials within JDE Assist/participate in specific engineering initiatives such as value engineering, warranty reduction efforts, or other projects as assigned. Interface with Product Management, R&D, Sales, Quality,Operations and Customers to ensure timely production implementation of projects. Provide technical assistance and support to customer inquiries and sales efforts. Create Solidworks models and/or provides work direction to CAD designers as needed. Provide support to Sourcing and Production. Travel 5-10% Job Requirements & Skills You should: Have earned at least a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.,B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering Have at least 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience Have experience using and working with SolidWorks Be able to efficiently use fact-based problem solving skills Present opportunities for innovation Be quick to learn new ideas and concepts, but at the same time have the ability to produce quality work Be flexible and able to work under time constraints and deadlines Be a continuous learner Be able to work independently with minimal supervision Disply positive attitude to work every day Be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook We like, but don?t require: High level of personal enthusiasm and self-motivation Willingness to take initiativ.... ..This job description has been truncated.
